TRANSITIONAL
LIVING PROGRAM


62% of homeless youth indicated that a member
of their family let them know they were unwanted
and are never reported missing by guardians.

The mission of Sea Haven’s Transitional Living Program is to offer comprehensive services for eligible youth, ages 16-21 to assist in reaching personal independence. This is not a residential program, however stable and safe living accommodations for program participants can be located through local partner agencies.

SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THAT
Are necessary to develop skills and personal characteristics needed to live independently
Are aimed at preventing, treating, and reducing substance abuse
Include appropriate referrals, medical and mental health treatment
Will assist youth in preparing for employment
Are directed toward assisting youth in completing or continuing their educational goals
Are necessary to assist parenting youth to become independent and more effective parents
